The Answer Behind the Hat Rule

Have you ever wondered why you can’t wear hats in school?
Well, I, Jason have gone deep into finding out the answers to this mystery.
I interviewed Mr. Kim about this.
He said the key reason was that it was a tradition to take of your hats because mostly when you enter a place you respect you take off your hat.
I also asked him if he agrees with this rule. He said that he agrees because, first of all, the Chancellor of the Department of Education made the rule. But he also said it shows that you have calmed down and are ready to enter the classroom to learn. He also said that he did not know that other schools have the rule, so we can’t compare and contrast which schools have this rule and which do not. But he did say his school in California had it. Then I asked him if kids complain about the rule, and he said no because they don’t want to complain to the assistant principle. I asked him not just about kids but about grown-ups too. He replied that they do not complain about the rule, which shocked me because I have heard so many complaints from kids and I thought they would say something to Mr. Kim.
Then I actually asked him if he liked the rule. He replied ‘’I would keep the rule because once again I like the rule.”
Mr. Kim said he did not talk to the DOE about the details because he already knew them. And he agreed to the rule.
Then he said that he did not know if the rule was going on for more then ten years. He was only here for six and he said it was a rule since then.
So you’re wondering why isn’t it polite to wear a hat, because that’s what all the teachers say. He said that historically you take of the hat as a sign of a respect. I finally asked him if he knew if private schools have this rule. He said he does not know.
To conclude, Mr. Kim does like the rule. So even if he did have the power to change it he wouldn’t. He couldn’t anyway because only the DOE has the power to change it.
