5th Grade Out to Lunch
by Allison E., Lucy C, and Noa S.
Since a couple weeks ago, the 5th graders are allowed to go out to lunch.
As 4th graders, we wanted to find out more about this so we interviewed Ms. Errico to get the inside story.
We first asked Ms.Errico how things were going with out to lunch and she said that everything was going smoothly. She said that all the students were responsible for themselves and their money. She also said ”people go in groups of five, and so far only a couple of kids have been excluded out of a group but they have figured it out”.
She also said that 5th graders are allowed to go out to lunch with any kid in any class in 5th grade.
Also, she explained about the boundaries that 5th graders must stay in. They can go on Lexington Avenue, and Madison Avenue and between 79th street and 85th street and also on 5th Avenue. Kids are allowed to sit on the stairs of the Met as well to eat their lunch, but they aren’t allowed to go past 5th.
We can’t wait to go out to lunch now!
