PS6 Grades K through 12?

Are you tired of school tours, interviews, tutors, tests, and applications and more? We all know what it feels like to go through the stress of changing schools. We’ve all either watched our siblings or other kids go through it and it’s not a great situation. Well here’s an opportunity that you can’t resist. We have come up with a solution so that no student will have to change schools: a K-12 school so every student could come to P.S.6 until 12th grade.
We interviewed Mrs. Santucci and Mr. Reed and here’s what they had to say about this idea: Mr. Reed said, “ Since this is a great school, it would have the same kind of attitude, it’s just the space problem.” Mr. Reed also explained that “ We should move to a bigger building, other than that, it would be great!” Ms. Santucci said, “It would be great to have a k-12 school but there would be some challenging things. It would be really great to see all of the students grow up from K-12. It would be really nice to meet new people though.”
The Space . . . .
Mr. Reed and Ms. Santucci like the idea of the K- 12 but a big challenging problem is the space. Our idea was to have a K-5 building, a 6-8 building, and a 9-12 building and you move on when you get to the last grade. Mr. Reed said, “It’s a good idea but what about the money issue? It would be too expensive to have all of those buildings and staff members for P.S.6.” Mr. Reed has a point but we are determined that if each parent gave a little money every year, P.S.6 could do it. Ms. Santucci explained, “I do like Mr. Reed’s idea about different buildings but we would have to send kids out to lunch at the same time.” Mr. Reed also talked about how it’s good not to apply to middle/high school and go through all of the stress. Also, Mrs. Santucci said, “It’s good not to apply to schools because I do see the stress but it’s also good to have the experience.”
All in all, we said that having a K-12 school would be amazing but, some issues would occur such as money, space, and staff but it would be very, very great!
